2.7. Using the Cogent PID Demo for Windows (available soon)

This program establishes a real-time data link, via Cascade Connect, to the PID Emulator data in the Cascade DataHub. The PID Emulator values are displayed and can be changed from this demo in much the same way as from the Monitor. The Cogent PID Demo for Windows should be downloaded, installed, and started up according to the instructions given in the Cogent PID Demo for Windows page of the Cogent Web Site (http://www.cogent.ca).

Under its default setup, the Cogent PID Demo for Windows connects to a copy of the PID Emulator running on a Cogent server. However, you can change the setup to connect to the PID Emulator running on your QNX or Linux system. This is explained in the instructions given in the Cogent PID Demo for Windows page of the Cogent Web Site.
